Terms of service
Last updated October 8, 2026
The terms that apply to everyone who uses iSoar.
These terms of service apply to everyone who uses iSoar, the service provided by iSoar Network ("iSoar", "we"). By using iSoar you agree to them. If your district has a signed agreement with us, that agreement governs the district's use, and it controls if it differs from these terms.
1. Accounts
iSoar accounts are created by schools and districts. You must use only your own account, keep your password private and tell your school or us right away if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity in your account.
2. Using iSoar
You may use iSoar only for school purposes allowed by your district and in line with our Acceptable use policy. Your district decides which features you can use and may change or end your access.
3. Your content
Districts and users keep ownership of the records, files and messages they put into iSoar. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide iSoar to your district. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
4. Our service
iSoar, including its software, design and the iSoar name and logo, belongs to iSoar Network. These terms do not give you any rights to it other than to use the service. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve iSoar without obligation to you.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep iSoar available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may improve or change features over time, and we will tell districts in advance about changes that significantly affect how they use iSoar.
6. Disclaimers and liability
Except as stated in a district's signed agreement, iSoar is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, iSoar Network is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of iSoar, and our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for iSoar in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Suspension and ending
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts iSoar or other users at risk, and we will tell the district when we do. When a district's agreement ends, its data is handled as described on our Student data privacy page.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the district using iSoar is located, unless the district's signed agreement says otherwise.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell districts before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use iSoar after that means you accept the updated terms.
